MARION – A Marion man was arrested for several offenses after he was stopped by Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies at the intersection of Maplewood and Bentley streets in Marion Monday night.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were attempting to locate Adrian J. Naquin so they could serve an Emergency Order of Protection which was issued earlier Monday in Williamson County Court.
While attempting to locate Naquin, deputies learned that he was in possession of a vehicle which had previously been reported stolen to the Marion Police Department.
Deputies found the vehicle around 7:20 p.m. and conducted their traffic stop. Naquin was taken into custody without incident.
Naquin was discovered to be in possession of 14 grams of cannabis and had a collapsible baton holstered to his belt. Naquin was cited for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Possession of Adult Use Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle, No Valid Driver’s License, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Unlawful Use of an Electronic Communication Device. Naquin was taken to and remains in the Williamson County Jail. The vehicle was returned to its owner.
