MCLEANSBORO – A burn ban has been issued for Hamilton County by Hamilton County Board Chairman Kelly Woodrow and Hamilton County Sheriff Tracy Lakin until further notice.

The burn ban is in place due to the prolonged time without any significant rainfall and little rainfall is in the forecast.

Continued hot and dry conditions are in the forecast for the next several days.

The burn ban will be lifted when conditions improve.
