REND LAKE – The Illinois Department of Transportation invites you to learn more and comment about the preliminary engineering and environmental study for improvements to the bridge carrying Illinois 154 at Rend Lake.

The study also includes the addition of a multi-use path for approximately 1.6 miles along Illinois 154 from Larry Foster Parkway to Fitzgerrell Park Road in Franklin County.

Instead of hosting a regular public meeting, IDOT is sharing details on the study and encourages public participation from July 20th through the 31st through the project website. The public can view exhibits and maps, ask questions and leave comments. Comments received by July 31 will become part of the official public record.
