MARION – The Marion VA Health Care System is inviting Marines, Veterans and active service members to a celebration marking the Marine Corps 248th Birthday Thursday.

The ceremony will be conducted by the Marine Corps League Detachment 1390 out of Paducah. It will last 40 minutes. The Veterans Canteen Service will provide cake and refreshments following the ceremony.

Doors will open at 2:30 p.m. The ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. in the Marion VA’s Center for Behavioral Health Building 1st floor conference room. It’s located in the main lobby entrance to the left.
