CARTERVILLE – A woman was recently arrested after Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies found methamphetamine on her while serving an arrest warrant in the 400 block of Missouri Avenue in Carterville.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, Amanda D. Anderson was taken into custody on an arrest warrant for failure to appear on the charge of Possession of Methamphetamine around 8:30 p.m. Friday.

A search of Anderson located 1.29 grams of meth in her front pocket. She was cited for Possession of Methamphetamine

Anderson was taken to and lodged in the Williamson County Jail.
