MARION – A woman was recently arrested and cited for possessing meth and traveling without required lighting following a traffic stop on Halfway Road near Michael Lane in Marion.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office says Aimee E. Jordan was booked into the Williamson County Jail.
Around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, Jordan was stopped and a sheriff’s K-9 arrived to conduct a free air sniff of her vehicle which alerted to the odor of illegal narcotics.
A probable cause search of Jordan was done. A female deputy found a red coin purse hidden in Jordan’s pants. A plastic bag containing a clear crystal like substance was found inside that field tested positive for meth.
