ANNA – A semi rolled over in the construction zone on southbound I-57 near Illinois 146 in Union County just before 11 Tuesday night according to Illinois State Police.

The driver was taken by ambulance to an area hospital.

Southbound traffic on I-57 was shut down and diverted off the I-24 split at milepost 44 while first responders worked to clear the truck and its load from the roadway.
