MT. VERNON – The City of Mt. Vernon says the intersection of 12th Street and Richview Road/Wilshire Drive is back open after being closed for road repairs due to the Richview Road sewer main replacement project.
Work will continue west of the intersection where crews are completing road repair work. That section of roadway will remain closed while repairs are underway.
The city and its contractor hope to have the project completed by Christmas, though the timeline will continue to depend on weather conditions.
