PINCKNEYVILLE – Nancy Hapke, 78, of Pinckneyville, died at 12:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 16, 2026, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond Heights, Mo.

She was born Nov. 4, 1947, in Du Quoin, the daughter of William and Bonnie (Jenkel) Hapke.

She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Michael Todich; her parents; a sister, Faye Schue; and two brothers, William Hapke and Artie Morris.

Survivors include a son, Brian Todich; a brother, James “Dick” (Cathy) Hicks; and two sisters, Sharon Scifert and Shirley Waller.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, at Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort. Burial will follow at Denning Cemetery on the Orient Road.

Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
