COELLO — Donnie James Trogolo, 78, of Coello, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

He was born Aug. 15, 1947, in Christopher, to Dominic and Lola (Smith) Trogolo. He married Linda (Dawson) Trogolo, who survives in Coello.

Trogolo was a veteran of the U.S. Army and previously worked for Christopher Elementary School and Rend Lake College.

Other survivors include his children, Donna (John) Ley of Apache Junction, Arizona, Deanne (Mark) Winter of Asheboro, North Carolina, and James Trogolo of Coello; and four grandchildren, Hunter, Hendrik, Haven and Deonna.

In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated and no services will be held.
