WEST FRANKFORT – An elderly woman driving in the 100 block of North Odle Street in West Frankfort Sunday afternoon left the roadway and struck a home.

According to West Frankfort Police Chief John Prudent, the 70-year-old woman was taken from the scene for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. No one inside the home was injured.

Chief Prudent believes this crash was caused by a medical emergency as there were no signs of impairment. He says the crash remains under investigation.
