MCLEANSBORO – The McLeansboro City Council will tackle a few items when it meets Tuesday night at City Hall.

The Consent Agenda will include the review of monthly financial reports including bills and transfers, an ordinance regarding interfund borrowing, review of the September Zoning Report and Department Reports, acknowledging Trick or Treat hours set for Tuesday, Oct. 31 between 5 and 8 p.m., acknowledge the City Wide Cleanup for Oct. 2-5 with hours of 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and 7:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, and discussion and possible action on some TIF reimbursements.

There will be discussion with possible action on budget amendments, purchasing a vac trailer, the dog pound, fees for commercial and private customers, allowing the Women’s Council to host a 5K run on the streets of McLeansboro on Oct. 28 at 9 a.m., and two estimates from Klingner and Associates, P.C. out of Carbondale regarding the Sanitary Sewer Evaluation System.

There will be a second reading and possible approval of an ordinance regarding two hour parking on the outside of the McLeansboro Square.

The Council will go into Executive Session to discuss employment of specific individuals. Following Executive Session the Council will discuss and take possible action on hiring for a new office position.
