CREAL SPRINGS – A woman was recently cited for multiple offenses after Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a female, armed with a knife, beating on the door of a home in the 300 block of East Jefferson Street in Creal Springs.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, Jessica N. Ford was cited for Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer, Resisting or Obstructing a Peace Officer, and Violation of Conditions of Pretrial Release. She was taken to and lodged in the Williamson County Jail.

The sheriff’s office says just after 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11, deputies responded to the Creal Springs address and saw several people on the porch including a female, identified as Ford. Ford had a knife on the ground near her feet and was partially concealing an 18″ pipe under her dress.

Ford appeared agitated and exhibited signs of impairment. Deputies attempted to deescalate the situation by successfully removing the knife from the porch.

It was discovered that Ford had come to the home, appeared agitated, began striking the front door, and was seen holding a knife. The residents stated they were afraid, locked Ford out of the house, and called 911.

Further investigation discovered Ford had recently been released from the Williamson County Jail and the home was a protected address as a condition of her pretrial release for a previous charge of Domestic Battery.

Deputies informed Ford she was under arrest for violation of conditions of pretrial release and ordered her to release the metal pipe and exit the home’s porch.

Ford refused and began shouting as she backed away from deputies.

Deputies ordered Ford several times to release the pipe and she refused at which point she drew the pipe from under her dress with her left hand and raised it above her head.

Deputies drew a Taser and again ordered Ford to release the pipe, to which she did not comply and the Taser was deployed striking Ford in the lower abdomen and left thigh.

After a brief scuffle as Ford continued to resist deputies, she was taken into custody.

Ford continued to resist deputies as she was escorted to a patrol vehicle.

Ford was then arrested, cited for the offenses we mentioned earlier and taken to jail.
